(MGM, 1981) Worn by Harry Hamlin as “Perseus,” this “Hades' helmet of invisibility” was a gift from Zeus to help him on his quest to destroy Medusa. Made from fiberglass with embedded metal for a realistic finish. The helmet was subsequently used on another production where alteration caused holes to be created. This is the only alteration visible from its original filmed condition. A very memorable prop from this fantasy classic. The helmet is presented on a custom made light up stand.
