(MGM, 1981) Extremely rare shield used by Harry Hamlin in The Clash of the Titans, and perhaps the most iconic of Perseus’ weapons. The shield features a large eagle and hand painted design around its edge. Hamlin carried this prop throughout the movie. (The only time this style of shield was not used was the famous battle with Medusa, that one had an inlaid reflective material added) Constructed from metal, hand painted and detailed to appear ancient. It exhibits slight wear but remains in very good condition.
